With the return of this event, we are happy to bring back unattached qualifying during the week leading up to the race. We will be using forecasted weather for both qualifying and the race. The weather for qualifying will be static and consistent across all qualifying sessions based on the forecast. However, the weather during the races will now be dynamic based on the same forecast. While we are not dictating the weather, I’d anticipate a nice sunny day in Indiana with temperatures in the mid 70’s F with fairly low winds.
Unattached qualifying sessions will be hourly. The Fixed setup sessions will be on the :00 while the Open setup sessions will be on the :30.
No, it is not going to rain.
